Lunch Menu Summer  Term



Week 1


19th May, 23rd June, 21st July, 1st Sept, 29th Sept

 


Monday:         Chicken and broccoli Pasta/Quorn pitta pocket (v), sweetcorn, carrots, cucumber and tomato salad, pineapple upside cake with custard


Tuesday:       Cottage pie/Cheese and tomato pizza with Cajun wedges (v), peas and vegetable sticks, mixed salad, ice cream bar or ice cream with fruit


Wednesday:  Roast turkey with crisply roast potatoes and gravy/Cheesy hotpot (v), cabbage and carrots, apple and celery salad, gingerbread with lemon custard


Thursday:      Mexican chilli with rice/Mediterranean tart with new potatoes (v), coleslaw, roasted vegetables, chewey muesli fruit bar and milk


Friday:           Battered fish with chips/Quorn bolognaise with pasta (v), baked beans and peas, tomato and cucumber salsa, chocolate and apricot brownie.




Week 2


2nd June, 30th June, 8th Sept, 6th Oct



Monday:        Sausages, mashed potatoes and gravy, jacket potato with cheesy coleslaw, carrots, broccoli, apple and celery. Oaty fruit crumble with custard


Tuesday:       Chicken korma with rice, macaroni cheese with garlic and bread herb bread wedge, garden peas, cucumber and tomato salad, carrot and sultana. Chocolate surprise sponge


Wednesday:  Roast gammon or Quorn roast with crispy roast or mashed potatoes and gravy, carrot and swede mash, cabbage or mixed salad. Crunchy cookie with milkshake


Thursday:      Italian Lasagne, frittata with new potatoes, seasonal vegetables, sweetcorn, vegetable sticks. Date slice and custard


Friday:           Fish fingers with chips, garden peas, baked beans, sweetcorn and pepper. Banana chocolate muffin





Week 3


9th June, 7th July, 15th Sept, 13th Oct



Monday:        Turkey burger in a bun with oven baked wedges, vegetarian cottage pie, sweetcorn, carrots, vegetable sticks. Orange and coconut cheesecake


Tuesday:       BBQ chicken and rice, cheese and tomato pizza with half a jacket potato, light crunchy coleslaw, garden peas, mixed salad. Fruit in jelly


Wednesday:  Roast pork or quorn roast with crispy roast or new potatoes and gravy, carrots, cabbage, apple, cucumber and celery. Chocolate Marble Sponge with chocolate sauce


Thursday:      Beef and mushroom pie with mashed potato, Italian cheese and tomato risotto, broccoli, seasonal vegetables, cucumber and tomato. Fruit flapjack with custard


Friday:           Crispy battered fish with chips, garden peas, baked beans, tomato and cucumber salsa. Peach and pineapple salad with ice cream




Week 4


16th June, 14th July, 22nd Sept, 20th Oct



Monday:        Sausages with mashed potato, pasta bake, garden peas, baked beans, tomato and cucumber salsa. Toffee apple crumble with custard.


Tuesday:       Italian Bolognaise with pasta, vegetable curry with Basmati rice, seasonal cabbage, fresh carrots, mixed salad. Jam and coconut sponge with custard.


Wednesday:  Roast chicken with sage and onion stuffing, quorn roast with crispy roast or mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh broccoli, fresh swede, fresh vegetable sticks. Carrot cake with citrus frosting.


Thursday:      Mexican beef tortilla with couscous, cheese and onion quiche with new potatoes, light coleslaw, sweetcorn, carrot and sultana salad. Fruity yogurt crunch.


Friday:           Salmon fish fingers with chips, garden peas, baked beans, apple and celery salad. Chocolate sultana crispie.
